Our second feature match of the day features Raul Cervantes versus Michael Steinman. Cervantes is piloting Machina Gadget while Steinman is using his beloved Gravekeeper deck. Cervantes is one of the few players left not representing DuelistGroundz in the tournament, but would he be able to keep winning against a member of Team DuelistGroundz?? Let's find out!
Game 1
Cervantes begins play by Summoning Machina Gearframe to add Machina Force to his hand. He then sets 2 cards to his backrow and ends.
Steinman discards Gravekeeper's Commandant to add Necrovalley to his hand, then activates Pot of Duality to reveal Dimensional Prison, Royal Oppression, and Fiendish Chain; he keeps Prison and shuffles the other 2 cards back. Steinman activates Necrovalley, then sets a monster and 2 backrow before ending.
Cervantes sets 2 cards to his backrow and ends.
Steinman draws and flips Gravekeeper's Spy but Cervantes chains Fiendish Chain to negate the effect! Steinman sets 1 card to each zone and ends.
Cervantes draws and Summons Red Gadget to add Yellow Gadget to his hand, then Machina Gearframe declares an attack on Gravekeeper's Spy. Steinman decides to chain Dimensional Prison to remove it from play and Cervantes ends with no further plays.
Steinman flips Gravekeeper's Recruiter and switches Spy to Defense. Steinman then sets a card to each zone and activates Royal Tribute to force Cervantes to discard his hand of Yellow Gadget, Machina Force, and Machina Fortress. Recruiter declares an attack on Red Gadget but Cervantes chains Dimensional Prison to remove it from play. Steinman ends.
Cervantes draws Pot of Duality and activates it revealing Seven Tools of the Bandit, Bottomless Trap Hole, and Dark Hole; he keeps Bottomless. Cervantes then flips Smashing Ground to destroy Gravekeeper's Spy, and sets 1 card to his backrow before ending.
Steinman sets a monster and ends.

Steinman draws and flips Gravekeeper's Descendant, which is promptly removed from play by Bottomless Trap Hole. He then sets a monster and ends.

Steinman draws Normal Summons Gravekeeper's Assailant, Cervantes chains another Bottomless Trap Hole but Steinman chains Solemn Judgment to keep his monster! Assailant then declares an attack and runs over Red Gadget for 700.

Steinman activates Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy Seven Tools of the Bandit, then activates Necrovalley. He Normal Summons Gravekeeper's Assailant and attacks Machina Gearframe, turning it to Defense and destroying it. He then sets 1 card to his backrow and ends.
Cervantes draw and Special Summons Cyber Dragon. Cyber declares an attack on Assailant but Steinman activates Mirror Force to destroy it. Cervantes move to his Main Phase 2 and Summons Yellow Gadget to search out Green Gadget. He then discards Green Gadget and Machina Fortress to Special Summon Machina Fortress and ends his turn.
Steinman Normal Summons Gravekeeper's Descendant, using priority to tribute Gravekeeper's Assailant and attempt to destroy Machina Fortress but Cervantes discards Effect Veiler to protect Fortress! Descendant runs over Yellow Gadget for 800 and Steinman ends.

Cervantes Summons Green Gadget, adding Red Gadget to his hand. He sets 2 cards to his backrow and ends.
Steinman flips Gravekeeper's Spy, who Special Summons Gravekeeper's Descendant to the field. He declares priority, tributing off Spy to destroy Cervantes's set Mirror Force. He then Normal Summons Gravekeeper's Commandant and tributes it off with priority to destroy the remaining backrow, Dimensional Prison. Steinman activates Gravekeeper's Stele to return Spy and Commandant to his hand, then discards Commandant to add Necrovalley to his hand. He activates Necrovalley and attacks with Descendant to destroy Green Gadget and deal 600 damage. Steinman sets 2 cards to his backrow and ends with no further plays.

Chimeratech Fortress Dragon declares an attack on the Gadget and Cervantes attacks Limit Removal to protect it and dish out 400 damage. Steinman ends and Cervantes scoops after seeing his next daw!
Michael Steinman takes a well fought match, taking complete control of Game 3 with a punishing Mirror Force! He moves on 1-0 in Day 2, whereas Cervantes will now need to win out to keep the dream alive.
